Cascades Raptor Center is conducting a survey to gather information on active raptor nests in the 2025 nesting season to help gather resources and information to have available as part of our re-nesting efforts for young raptors. There are occasional circumstances where we are unable to return young raptors to their original families, and we are hoping to have a database on-hand of active raptor nests so that we have the potential to wild-foster those cases instead of hand-raising.
We’d like to spread the word of the survey to as many birders as possible and subsequently have as many potential nest site candidates as we can so we can get a good match for any given nestling.
More information and the survey can be found here.
