Vaux's Swifts

We can expect the Vaux’s Swifts to arrive with a warm wind from the south sometime in April. The timing of the migration varies, so we hope they will show up April 15 and 29 when we will be watching the skies to see the birds ride in on the wind. They use the Agate Hall Chimney to roost for the night as they gather to feed and recover after migration from the south.

Come join us at Agate Hall, on UO campus at 17th Avenue and Agate Street.
