Adams Elementary and Camino/River Road Elementary both have work parties to get native, pollinator-friendly plants…

Lane County Audubon is happy to reach out to the community folks who attend the Mt Pisgah Wildflower Festival each spring. We need volunteers to meet and greet people at our booth with displays of birds, birding info and much more. For more information, contact Ron: christyandron2@gmail.com.
Mt Pisgah Arboretum describes their twice yearly events:
“Each festival features large educational displays—wildflowers in the spring, and mushrooms in the fall— with experts on hand to answer questions. Our stage features live music by local bands all festival-day-long. Throughout the festival day, local naturalists and experts lead guided nature walks through the Arboretum highlighting the area’s ecology and history. For those that are looking to take something home from our festivals, our Merchandise Booth features collectible festival t-shirts and posters and educational materials. We also have vendors selling plants (including many native species), arts & crafts, books and a food cart area bursting with delicious flavors.”
