Check Out the Bald Eagle Nest on Skinner Butte!

Have you been to the top of Skinner Butte to see the bald eagle nest? Yes? Great!  Haven’t seen it because you couldn’t find it?

There’s a new nest that’s easier to spot than the previous one. In fact it’s much easier to find and enjoy….along the river path west of Campbell Center at the end of the long parking lot that parallels the path and river.

Early May 2023, two healthy chicks are growing fast, and food provision must be much easier for the parents being so close to the river.

Bring binoculars to get a good look. Bring a scope and get an even better look. Bring a good telephoto camera and a tripod and get a good photo!
