For the Love of Birds

Pepper Trail, our featured speaker on January 25, 2022, announces the publication of For the Love of Birds: Visions and Meditations, a book which pairs the extraordinary bird photographs of Marie Read with haiku written by Pepper. Renowned author and bird expert Kenn Kaufman has called the book “a unique treasure, a feast for the eyes and spirit.” The book is hardcover, 106 pages, and in addition to the photo/haiku pairings, includes information on all the photos and a short introduction to haiku.
