Volunteer on National Public Lands Day

September 24, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

West Eugene Wetlands

Come spend Saturday morning in the West Eugene Wetlands helping out with public service projects. Examples include improving access and signage, maintaining the Danebo Boardwalk, increasing native plantings, and clearing out gardens around the Red House.

Bethel and Eugene community members are invited to sign up for these projects. All volunteers receive a free t-shirt, a fee-free federal lands voucher, and access to the vast wetland knowledge of BLM staff and WREN educators.

This is a free event, but registration through Eventbrite is required so organizers will know how many will be attending.
FMI and to register go to EventBrite National Public Lands Wetlands Work Day by WREN

Program Meetings

Our monthly program meetings have something for everyone. During the last year we hosted programs by naturalists, wildlife artists and expert birders on a variety of topics from the birds of Hawaii, to ravens, wolves, and people, to the migration of red knots. Participating in a program meeting is a fun way to get involved with Lane County Audubon. Meetings are free and open to all.

We are currently meeting on Zoom and in-person as conditions allow on the 4th Tuesday of each month between September and May at 7:00 p.m.
