LCAS Third Saturday Bird Walk 11/18/23

Vjera Thompson will lead the walk starting at Booth Kelley Path Trailhead, 307 S. 5th St., Springfield. The walk will cover 2-3 miles on a flat paved multi-use path with a couple benches. Beavers have been active here for the last year and we will be able to see related habitat changes. Those who want to can return via a flat gravel road and observe the pond from a different angle. Attendees with accessibility requests can contact Vjera at nemesisquail@gmail.com, or talk to her at the start of the walk. The walk will probably cover 2-3 miles. Our Third Saturday Bird Outings continue to be open to all participants.

Program Meetings
Our monthly program meetings have something for everyone. During the last year we hosted programs by naturalists, wildlife artists and expert birders on a variety of topics from the birds of Hawaii, to ravens, wolves, and people, to the migration of red knots. Participating in a program meeting is a fun way to get involved with Lane County Audubon. Meetings are free and open to all.
We are currently meeting on Zoom and in-person as conditions allow on the 4th Tuesday of each month between September and May at 7:00 p.m.
