Field Trip to West Eugene Wetlands-North American Butterfly Association

March 5 @ 2:59 am

Join NABA Oregon officers for a casual, kid-friendly, educational exploration of Eugene’s nearby wetland areas where butterflies are abundant in the early season. With these experts as guides, beginners and experienced butterfliers alike are sure to have an enriching natural-history experience — one that extends beyond butterfly identification.

Meet at 12:00 in the parking area by the “Red House”, West Eugene’s Wetlands office, on the NE corner of 11th & Danebo (751 S, Danebo Ave, behind the Hertz car sales).

Free! Please preregister by email at NABA.ES.trips@gmail.com

Program Meetings

Our monthly program meetings have something for everyone. During the last year we hosted programs by naturalists, wildlife artists and expert birders on a variety of topics from the birds of Hawaii, to ravens, wolves, and people, to the migration of red knots. Participating in a program meeting is a fun way to get involved with Coast to Cascades Bird Alliance. Meetings are free and open to all.

We are currently meeting on Zoom and in-person as conditions allow on the 4th Tuesday of each month between September and May at 7:00 p.m.
