Join our Spring Bike Path Clean Up, Saturday April 8, from 10 am to 1 pm.  To clean up our 2-mile section of the West Eugene Wetlands bike path, we’ll meet near the Euphoria Chocolate Company at Stewart Road and Bertelsen Rd, just north of West 11th.

Volunteers clean up Amazon bike pathPast participants have said they enjoyed both the activity and the camaraderie, and we’ll be able to watch for birds and other wildlife along the way. We’ll have support from the Bureau of Land Management staff for the first time!

This is an all-volunteer effort and we’d love to have you join us. FMI or to volunteer: please email Katy Vizdal at katyvizdal@gmail.com.

This event happens twice yearly, in April and October. Lane County Audubon adopted the west end (about two miles) of West Eugene’s Fern Ridge Bike Path. The goal is to help keep Eugene’s waterways an inviting habitat for wildlife, plus a safe and clean area for recreation.
