3rd Saturday Birding 6/21/25

Our 3rd Saturday Bird Walk is on June 21st and will be lead by Rachael Friese!  We will meet at 8:00AM at Fern Ridge at the parking lot on Royal Avenue (see link). There is street parking available or you may park in the Royal Ave. parking lot with an ODFW permit. Leave valuables at home, not in your car. Our walk will be on gravel or rough grass trails. This can be a long walk and participants may turn back at any point to adjust the distance to suit their needs for the day. Please come prepared to enjoy your day in this natural area by bringing water, hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen as this walk is out in the open with no shade.

Parking availability – On-street parking or parking in lot with an ODFW permit. Leave valuables at home, not in your car.

Restroom – Pit toilet

Trail conditions – Flat trails on gravel and rough grass. It can be a long walk and folks can turn back at any point to adjust the time and distance to best suit their day.

Prepare for the natural conditions of this area. Consider bringing water, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, etc.
